The doctors and nurses carry out many types of procedures such as:

ECGs, Audiograms, Spirometrys, minor excisions, Implants, wound dressings and many more.

Surgical procedures will incur an out of pocket expense for all patients. Resources such as suture materials, dressings, bandages, plaster and associated equipment and it’s sterilising incur a physical cost to the practice which cannot be covered by any medicare rebate. These fees are payable at the time of the procedure. In most instances the procedure is unable to be invoiced until the pathology result has been received in order to determine the correct item number to bill. You will have a further out of pocket fee on this item that will be invoiced to you when we receive your results. 

FACILITY/SUPPLY FEE: $22 to be paid at the time of consultation

EXCISION FEE will be invoiced when your Doctor receives your results

Lesion removals will be booked after an initial consultation with your GP to assess the lesion and determine the best course of action or treatment. A booking will then be made for the removal. Time is allocated for use of the treatment room, a nurse to assist and the Doctor.
